Real Voices. Real Impact

Malak, a Story Xperiential alum, wanted to explore her own experiences of growing up away from her home country through an animated film about an ancient pharaoh exploring modern Cairo.

Xperiential is a project-based masterpiece that is fully standards-aligned and expertly covers the core concepts we are already teaching in English class.

One of the unexpected benefits was connecting with other visual storytellers from around the world. Going through that creative journey together, watching each other grow throughout the different stages of the program, and supporting one another with feedback along the way—it was inspiring and meaningful.

What I made with "Wacky Thing Called Life" is not at all like what I was making during my first Story Xperiential session. It really takes time, effort and passion. And, you know, you should also not become complacent with what you're trying to make.
